Jotelulu's first funding round, €1M from Big Sur Ventures and Bankinter (through the venture capital programme run with Fundacion Innovacion Bankinter); no investor was described as leading the round. Proceeds went to new services (virtual PBX, online backup), platform functionality and security, and the start of European and Latin American expansion. Earlier, in 2018, the business had used non-dilutive red.es public support to build the platform, which was never announced as a funding round.
