Ten months after launching, Mr Jeff closed what it called its second funding round, €2M from a group of prominent but unnamed business angels, to push its home laundry and dry-cleaning app beyond Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona. No lead was stated and the participants were not disclosed; angels cited elsewhere as pre-Series A backers include Albert Armengol (Doctoralia), Jeroen Merchiers (Airbnb EMEA) and Kim Jung (NXC), while the company's very first money came from the founders plus Valencia accelerator Bbooster Ventures (later Draper B1), whose undisclosed initial cheque was never announced as a round and which exited in January 2020 at a reported 40x.
