Fundeen's first funding round, €120,000, was led by two Spanish business angels whose names were not disclosed, with incoming CFO Jesús Domínguez also participating; the proceeds funded the CNMV authorisation process and the expansion of the team. Only the year 2018 is established from the coverage, so the date is given as 2018-01; the founders had earlier bootstrapped with about €40,000 of bank debt, and the company separately drew on ENISA, ICE, SODICAL and CDTI support totalling around €480,000, which was not announced as a funding round.
