Gyala Therapeutics secured €3.7M in public funding from Spain's Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities under the CPP 2024 programme to start a Phase I/IIa clinical trial of GYA01, a CAR-T therapy targeting CD84 in relapsed or refractory acute leukaemias. This is a grant rather than an equity round; the company had previously closed a €3M round with Invivo Partners, Nara Capital and CDTI Innvierte in September 2025, taking cumulative funding to €11M.
