Orain Technologies raised €6M to accelerate its European expansion and prepare entry into Latin America and Asia, growing headcount from 40 to 70; announced alongside an agreement with Visa to process payments through its platform. Spanish press (El Referente) described it as a 'pre-Series A' and CB Insights lists it as an unattributed venture round; it was co-led by Acurio Ventures and Kfund through its Leadwind growth fund, with existing investors Bonsai and Actyus following on. The round coincided with the company's rebrand from Orain to Frekuent, announced in early March 2025.
