Sepiia closed its third round at roughly €2.3M in total: €1.9M (90% of the round) from institutional backers Fondo Bolsa Social and Faraday Venture Partners, announced on 24 February 2023, plus a retail tranche on the La Bolsa Social equity-crowdfunding platform that hit its €200K goal in about 24 hours with 60+ investors and ended up raising over €400K in three weeks. Announced after the company doubled sales to €1.5M in 2022, with the money going to new physical stores, international expansion and fabric R&D; no single lead investor was stated.
