Balize (founded 2022 as InmoBalize, a real-estate tokenisation platform co-founded and incubated by Carlos Blanco's Nuclio Labs in Barcelona) closed its first financing round, a €700,000 capital increase in which Spanish and Andorran business angels came in as minority shareholders; no lead investor was named and no individual investors were disclosed. The company had flagged this raise as a 'pre-Series A' in 2023 and said the money would fund a regulated investment vehicle, 12-14 value-add projects in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Andorra, and a planned listing on BME Scaleup. Nuclio's role was as founding shareholder/incubator rather than a participant announced in this round.
