Cloudtown Brands announced its first funding round of €2.2 million, led by an unnamed group of European investors, to expand its network of hybrid and virtual delivery restaurants. The round had actually been closed months earlier and exceeded its original target by more than 50%; at announcement the company ran 15 locations in Spain and more than 10 digital restaurant brands (Chivuo's, Van Van Chicken, The Fish&Chips Shop).
