Baluwo, a Barcelona cash-to-goods platform that lets migrants in Europe pay directly for food, electricity and mobile top-ups for relatives in rural West Africa, raised €2M led by impact fund Creas (Creas Impacto). Open Value Foundation joined alongside existing shareholders Cabiedes, Big Sur Ventures and 4Founders Capital; the company operated in 14 countries with over 1,000 merchant partners.
