Flomics Biotech, a Barcelona genomics company spun out of the Centre for Genomic Regulation and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, closed a €1 million seed round led by an undisclosed US family office, with national and international business angels and Arcano ImasD (Arcano Partners' R&D vehicle) participating. The money funds preclinical trials of its blood-based multicancer screening test, on top of more than €500,000 in public grants received during 2021.
