Buo, the Barcelona group-buying online supermarket founded in 2021 by Rubén Vilar, Carlos Costa and Borja Solé (the team behind Pulpo), raised €2M led by Mangrove Capital Partners with angels including Glovo co-founder Óscar Pierre, Didac Lee and Inés Urés. The app pools shoppers into buying groups to cut grocery prices by up to 30% and used the money to expand from Barcelona to Madrid and other Spanish cities.
