Aragón's regional public investment company Sodiar committed €150,000 to Zaragoza-based fibre-optic sensing specialist Aragon Photonics Labs through its Innovation Fund. The financing is a participatory loan (fixed interest plus a results-linked component) rather than an equity venture round, and funds Innovamina-RS, an EIT RawMaterials-backed European consortium project on continuous monitoring of mining tailings slope failures.
