Seville-based liquid-biopsy company Universal DX closed a €62M capital increase, of which €30M came from Spain's state tech-investment vehicle SETT after authorisation by the Council of Ministers on 20 January 2026; the remainder came from other investment partners who were not individually named, and no single lead was stated. The capital funds its Signal-C colorectal cancer blood test and is expected to create around 100 direct and 300 indirect jobs across its Seville, Madrid, Dallas and Ljubljana sites.
