AABLE Human Motion — Seed · approximately €700K
The UPC spin-off closed a round of just over €700,000, led by Banco Sabadell's BStartup Health programme, to take its robotic exoskeleton from a working prototype to a scalable product. The money covers R&D staff, materials, national patent filings and clinical validation at Institut Guttmann. Some outlets call it a pre-seed of about $825K; Nordic9 reports €750K. Other funding is not listed as separate rounds: public grants and loans (EIT Health about €2.8M for the consortium 2020-22, EC/Horizon 2020, CDTI, ENISA, Torres Quevedo, CaixaImpulse), later private money reportedly including the Grifols family, a 'Seed II' dated June 2024 that appears only in databases, and later raises (a €5M round opened in September, a Capital Cell campaign) with no reported close.
