Declarando raised €2.2M in its second round. JME Ventures led it, and existing shareholders Encomenda Smart Capital, Fundación Bankinter and Sabadell Venture Capital joined. The money was for product development, strengthening its position as the leading tax adviser for Spanish autónomos and entering Mexico; at the time it had 40,000+ freelancer clients, a team of 40 and about €100K in monthly revenue. Some reports give €2.7M, which is the total raised across its rounds. The press gave no stage label, so Seed is a judgement call. Visma's majority-stake acquisition in April 2022 was an M&A deal, not a funding round.
