Ecomagnet — Seed (estimated) · €859K
This was Ecomagnet's second round, €858,500. Clave Capital's UN I+D+i Tech Transfer fund, run with the Universidad de Navarra, promoted the round. CDTI Innvierte and CEO Kenny L. Álvarez also took part, and some reports say Ceit did too. The money was for optimising the technology, scaling it up industrially, growing the team and designing a pilot plant, with the aim of producing recycled NdFeB powder from 2024. Separately, a 2023 local report says the company also received grants and aid from Fomento San Sebastián, the Ekin+ programme, technology vouchers and Implanta. Those grants are not counted as rounds.
