The farmer cooperative Aira took a stake of more than 20% in Dairylac through a €1M capital increase. This helped fund a milk and whey drying tower in Melide costing more than €12M, of which the Xunta's Consellería do Medio Rural was to cover about €5M in public support, so that is not part of this round. After the deal, Aira, Icos and Codeira held about 70% together, Xesgalicia 25% and small shareholders 5%.
