GUZZU closed a €450K pre-seed round in mid-May 2022 and raised it in about two months. The round was led by an unnamed 'important German media group', with business angels from the music, technology and entertainment industries also taking part. The date comes from the founder's LinkedIn post of 16 May 2022 sharing the 'Guzzu capta 450.000 euros para NFT en música' article; Industria Musical covered it on 2022-05-26 and Via Empresa on 2022-06-15. Lanzadera's profile gives the pre-seed as €410K and lists two other 2022 items that are not venture rounds: a €150K participative loan from the Institut Català de Finances (ICF) and a €50K prize from the GM Barcelona Web3 & Metaverse Forum. Tracxn puts total funding at about $564K and names Lanzadera, Outlier Ventures, Cuatrecasas Acelera, GM Barcelona and Barcelona Music Lab as backers, but these are accelerator or programme links and were not reported as part of this round.
