Murcia Emprende, the venture capital firm run by the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia with Cajamar, Banco Sabadell and Bankia, invested in Nuevas Tecnologías Agroalimentarias, S.L. (Keepcool) to consolidate its current markets, fund new research lines and expand abroad. The 2018 press did not give an amount. El Referente's company profile says Keepcool closed two €50,000 convertible notes, one with Murcia Emprende and one with a business angel on an undisclosed date, and that €30,000 has since converted into equity. A later term sheet (€40,000 from Nazari Ventures) and a €300,000 round at a €2.5M pre-money valuation, in talks with Grupo Mondragón and Easo Ventures, were not reported as closed and are left out. The same goes for the €500,000 round the company was preparing in 2025.
