Barcelona biotech Oniria Therapeutics obtained €2M to develop and validate a biomarker for monitoring response to ONR-001, its experimental metastatic melanoma drug, in a three-year project with CSIC and the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology. This is public grant funding under Spain's CPP 2023 public-private collaboration programme (Ministry of Science and EU funds), not a venture equity round.
