Quatre Lab — Seed · approximately €5M

Diario Vasco reported, and Columbus Venture Partners reposted on 1 June 2023, a roughly €5M investment in the newly created Quatre Lab by Columbus through its Columbus Life Sciences Fund III, to build GMP quality-control labs for advanced therapies (ATMPs). In September–October 2023 the company announced that Grupo SPRI's Gestión de Capital Riesgo del País Vasco had also invested, through BASQUE FCR and SEED GIPUZKOA. That announcement gave no amount and did not say whether the SPRI money was part of the €5M. No source says who led the round. In November 2023 Quatre Lab led the investor group that bought Sweden's Vironova BioAnalytics (renamed QuTEM); that was an acquisition, not a funding round.
