This was Watchity's first round: €600K, of which €500K came from business angels and €100K was an ENISA participative loan. Sputnik Capital co-led it with ECONOMISTESBAN, the investor club of the Col·legi d'Economistes de Catalunya, and angels from the IESE and ESADEBAN networks joined. It came on top of about €500K in earlier public funding: an Emprendetur R&D loan, a Neotec grant and other grants. The month is approximate. In February 2017 the company was still looking for this money, and search metadata puts the El Referente article in June 2017. Later press mentions a second round between 2017 and 2021, but I could not verify its amount or investors, so it is not listed.
