Bioherent, a University of Málaga spin-off building in vitro diagnostic devices based on photonic biosensors and nanotechnology, added Axon Partners Group as a new investor alongside founding backers Bullnet Capital and CDTI-Innvierte, to fund clinical validation of its non-invasive beta-lactam antibiotic allergy test and prepare first commercialisation in Europe. The press release did not disclose the amount; El Referente reported the round at €2M. Axon invested through its Axon Desarrollo Andalucía fund, backed by the Junta de Andalucía and the EIB.
