AAlter5 — Unstaged equity
Mutua Madrileña, through its investment arm Mutua Ventures, took a 10% stake in Alter5. The money is meant to drive the business, its technology and its expansion. Neither the amount nor the valuation was disclosed, and no source says whether these are new shares or shares bought from existing shareholders. It is a minority stake, so it is not a buyout. Earlier support from the European Investment Fund (since 2021, including a guarantee of up to €105M on a €150M green-loan portfolio) is a portfolio guarantee, not financing of Alter5, so it is not reported here.
