Spain's state technology vehicle SETT invested €1M in a first capital increase in Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, a 2019 spin-off of IFAE, the University of Barcelona and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center that builds full-stack quantum computers using superconducting flux qubits. The investment, made under SETT's public-private co-investment model, follows the company's inauguration on 6 November of what it calls Europe's first multimodal Quantum Data Center.
