Zylon, founded by the creators of the open-source PrivateGPT project, came out of stealth with a $3.2 million pre-seed led by Felicis, with LifeX Ventures, Zypsy and angels including Travis McPeak, Kirill Tashilov and Hans-Christian Zappel. The company sells a private, enterprise-grade generative-AI workspace for non-technical SMBs built on fine-tuned open-source models.
