InspectRail, a 2023 spin-off of the Ceit technology centre, completed a €330,000 pre-seed capital increase with prominent participation from Gestión de Capital Riesgo del País Vasco SGEIC (Grupo SPRI, via the Basque Tek Ventures initiative) alongside the management team. The funds go to developing and validating inspection systems that can be fitted to any rail vehicle to monitor track, catenary, wireless communications and lineside vegetation.
