CDTI Innovación, through its Innvierte programme, agreed to invest in Honext Materials alongside Grupo Construcía, Meroil, Nolabey Grup and Evolvia; the company closed a first tranche of €2.5M of which CDTI committed €1.2M, with up to €8M more being raised for its first industrial plant. Honext turns primary sludge from the recycled-paper industry into circular, fire-resistant boards for interior construction. No venture stage or lead investor was disclosed.
