Suma Capital took an undisclosed minority stake in Berria Bikes, the Albacete-based maker of high-performance road and mountain bikes founded by former pro cyclists David and José Vitoria, through its €160M SC Growth Fund II. This is a growth-equity minority investment rather than a classic venture round; Berria closed its June 2022 financial year with €16M in revenue, up 55% year on year, and will use the capital for international expansion.
