Upbe is a Spanish conversational intelligence platform (operated by Predictiva.io) that uses machine learning and NLP to automatically transcribe, structure and analyse phone conversations between companies and their customers, automating quality assurance, compliance and sales analysis for contact centres. Founded in Málaga in 2016 by Pablo Enciso, it raised roughly €4M in total (a €2.4M seed round led by Swanlaab with Sabadell Venture Capital and CDTI/Innvierte, plus EU SME Instrument and ENISA funding) and won the CaixaBank/ENISA Entrepreneur XXI award for best startup in Spain & Portugal in 2019. Upbe was acquired by Numintec (a Telavox company) on 1 January 2024 and its product now operates as 'Numintec Speech Analytics'.
