NZERO is a Barcelona-based brand of Marteen Sports World S.L. that develops and sells 100% biodegradable, plant-based waxes and lubricants for skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, cross-country and cycling, with a marine line in development. Its solid ski waxes contain over 99% renewable plant-derived raw material and its bike wet lube holds EU Ecolabel certification, with USDA Bio certification on liquid and solid ski waxes. Founded in 2015, it received a €50,000 EU Horizon 2020 SME Instrument grant for the NZERO project and won the B-STEP sports innovation award in Barcelona.
