Spectrapply
Spectrapply, S.L. (branded SpectrApply) was an Asturian deeptech spin-off from SERIDA (the regional agri-food R&D service of Asturias), incubated by CEEI Asturias and founded in Oviedo in 2011. It developed integrated analytical solutions based on Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) for fast, non-invasive quality control of raw materials, food and biological samples, and co-led the EU Horizon 2020 SME Instrument project NIRWOOD (2017-2019, ~€572k EU contribution) building a handheld NIR device to verify wood species and origin. SPECTRAPPLY SL is in liquidation.
