Inmedical Therapeutics is a Spanish medical device company based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, founded in 2020, developing Covergel, a bioadhesive thermosensitive hydrogel (Class III device) that forms a protective barrier over colonoscopic resection wounds to accelerate mucosal healing and prevent complications such as delayed bleeding or perforation. It closed an €800,000 seed round in January 2024 with Viscofan and the Basque public venture fund (Grupo SPRI), and has completed preclinical work while running clinical trials in Basque hospitals ahead of a targeted 2025 commercialization.
