Founded in 2017 as a spin-off of Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Amalfi Analytics builds AI/machine-learning predictive analytics software for hospital and healthcare-system management, forecasting patient flow, occupancy, surgical demand, and staffing/HR risk (modules include ANIS, ALOE, ACIS, APIS, MINT, ARUM). Backed early on by Grow Venture Partners, the Barcelona-based company was acquired by French risk-management and insurance group Relyens in late 2023/early 2024 (after being a Relyens partner since 2020), so it now operates as part of Relyens rather than as an independently VC-backed startup.
