Simplicity Works is a Spanish manufacturing-technology company that developed 3D Bonding, a patented process that joins footwear and other multi-material products by direct injection of polymers instead of cutting, sewing and gluing. The technology collapses 80+ assembly operations into a handful of steps, cutting labour needs by up to 70%, material use by roughly 50% and energy use by about 30%, enabling reshored 'proximity' production. It is headquartered in Elche (Alicante), Spain's footwear cluster, and is largely funded through EU grants (Horizon 2020 / EIC Accelerator, incl. a €1.8M+ EIC Accelerator award) plus angel investors and the Lanzadera accelerator.
