Minicoders is a Barcelona-based edtech startup (legal entity MINICODERS 21 S.L.) that teaches children aged roughly 6-12 the fundamentals of computer programming through game-based experiences in the metaverse, combining a 'Minicoders Kids' app of videos and a virtual assistant with practice worlds built in Roblox. Co-founded in late 2021 inside the Nuclio venture builder, it raised a ~€350K pre-seed round in October 2022 from business angels and funds including CastiVentures.
