Dinube

Dinube is a Barcelona fintech founded in 2011 as an MIT Media Lab spin-off that built an independent digital payment network enabling contactless, card-free mobile payments linked directly to users' bank accounts, positioning itself as an alternative to Visa/Mastercard. It launched Europe's first such contactless network in 2014, partnering with retailers like El Corte Inglés, and has raised one seed round (~€1.5M, 2014).
