Swipet is a Spanish insurtech that sells fully personalized pet health insurance for dogs and cats online, using a machine-learning risk model ("PetShield") that predicts breed- and age-specific conditions so owners only pay for coverage they need, with quotes in under 3 minutes and 70% reimbursement of vet bills. Founded in 2023 by Eduardo Pena Varela and headquartered in Madrid (with Galician roots), it passed through the Lanzadera and AticcoLab accelerator programs and closed a €400K pre-seed round led by Aticco in January 2026; Pena was named to the Forbes Spain 30 Under 30 2026 list.
