Capflex Energia
Capflex Energia is a Spanish independent developer of standalone battery energy storage systems (BESS), managing a self-developed pipeline of roughly 500-600 MW of merchant storage projects across Spain. Founded by a serial energy entrepreneur previously behind an EV-charging platform sold to Shell, the firm handles land, grid-connection, engineering and regulatory work in-house and plans to offer an EMS-API to connect projects to aggregators and Spain's grid operator. It is headquartered in the Seville area and functions as an energy-infrastructure developer rather than a typical VC-backed tech startup.
