Enertika is a Barcelona-based energy services company (ESCO) that provides energy-saving, energy-efficiency and distributed-generation solutions, mainly on-site solar PV self-consumption, to large industrial and service-sector companies under an Energy-as-a-Service model. Its offering covers lighting, climate control, industrial processes and solar self-consumption, often financed through on-site PPAs so that clients pay for the energy or the savings rather than for the installation. It was founded in 2008 by Francesc Tarongí and Enric Solano. It has offices in Madrid and Bilbao and subsidiaries in Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia and Morocco, where it won a €50 million contract to renew and manage street lighting in Marrakech. In 2017 it closed a €5 million Series A led by Caixa Capital Risc through Caixa Innvierte Industria, with the Institut Català de Finances joining through its Capital Expansió fund.
