LEV2050 is a Spanish industrial microbiology company that isolates, develops and produces customised microorganisms (yeasts, bacteria, fungi) plus patented LEV2050® bioreactors and culture media for the agri-food industry. Its core market is winemaking — around 170 wineries across Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Argentina and Chile — with expansion into brewing, bakery, probiotics/postbiotics, bioactive peptides, biofertilisation and by-product valorisation. It maintains a strain bank of ~16,000 yeasts and 6,000+ bacteria, and in March 2024 Stellum Food&Tech and Inveready Biotech IV took a 25% stake to fund growth. It is headquartered in Mutilva/Aizoain, Navarra.
