YYorsio
Yorsio is a Spanish proptech startup that turns renting into gradual home ownership: tenants rent a room in a shared flat and 10-15% of each monthly payment converts into equity/savings toward buying that room, with the ability to sell their share or move at any time. Founded in 2024 in San Sebastián (Gipuzkoa) by Sara Recalde and Ainara Iturain, it is pre-seed/early stage with 2-10 employees, and combines AI-based flatmate matching with a co-ownership legal structure aimed at lowering the average age of emancipation in Spain. It went through Juan Roig's Lanzadera accelerator (MAR25 cohort), won prizes in the Cámara de Gipuzkoa 'Impulsa Startup' programme, was named in the Nova 111 List 2026 (Investments & Real Estate), and has begun operating homes in Valencia, Barcelona (L'Hospitalet) and Madrid. Its funding to date is grants and prizes (~€200k) plus accelerator backing.
