WAIIS is a Spanish shared-mobility platform (legal entity WAIIS Solutions Iberia S.L.) whose app uses AI and geolocation to detect commuting routines and automatically match drivers with passengers on the same route, positioning itself as Spain's first shared-mobility 'super app' across B2C, B2B and B2G. Founded in 2022 out of Manresa with its registered office in Barcelona, it operates mainly in the Barcelona and Madrid metropolitan areas and offers features such as women-only rides, real-time location sharing and SOS mode. In July 2026 it raised €1M in its third and largest round to date (participants disclosed only as 'private investors and companies'), reported €2M of 2025 revenue with a €5M target for 2026, and in August 2026 acquired corporate-mobility startup SharetoGo, whose founder Mario Levy joined to lead its corporate division; it also lists public backers ENISA, CDTI, MITECO and EIT Urban Mobility, which are grant/public bodies rather than VCs.
