XAIN (legal entity Xatena Innovare S.L.) is a Madrid-based climate-tech startup that measures, certifies and offsets product-level CO2 emissions across supply chains, using a human-plus-AI method that derives energy use and emissions from plans, photos, drawings or spec sheets without depending on supplier data. It was born as a spin-off of Intrustial, a distributed-manufacturing company, and raised a €250K seed round led by Armatura Capital announced in January 2025. In parallel it formed NextXain, a joint venture with listed textile group Nextil (51% Nextil) to commercialise CO2 measurement and certification for the textile industry; its CO2 calculator was also adopted by the Comunidad de Madrid for the textile sector.
