YYsium Medical
Ysium Medical is a Navarre-based medtech company that designs, develops and manufactures medical devices and high-realism clinical simulation products, working across four research lines: medical simulation, neurology, oncology and personalized medicine. Its commercial flagship is a line of suture simulators (facial and forearm) with reusable anatomical bases and replaceable soft-tissue inserts, sold to universities, hospitals and simulation labs. Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of Vidorreta Design, it closed a first round of over €800,000 led by Sodena and Vidorreta Design Group, holds two patents with two more in progress, has raised over €1M in Spanish and EU grants, and has been selected by both Lanzadera (Traction phase) and Telefónica's Wayra; it is currently running a €1M bridge round ahead of a planned 2026 capital increase. It is headquartered in Arre (Navarra).
