Orygen is a Madrid-based proptech/climate-tech startup that analyses rural and rustic land in Spain using satellite data, computer vision and AI to tell owners, investors, banks and asset managers what a plot is actually worth and what it can legally and profitably be used for ("Land as a Service"). It also runs a marketplace connecting landowners with developers of forestry, carbon-offset, agriculture and renewable-energy projects, and reports 20,000+ hectares analysed, 700+ landowners and 25+ corporate clients. Founded in late 2022 by Victoria Hermida Esquitino and Costanza Pinto Bonomo, it is a small pre-seed team (~2-10 people); its backing is angel/founder capital plus EU NextGenerationEU support.
