MMaterial Bitcoin
Material Bitcoin is an A Coruña-based company that makes physical cold-storage wallets for bitcoin and other crypto-assets. Its patented product is a stainless-steel (AISI 304L) plate with laser-engraved private keys under tamper-evident seals. It uses no electronics, software or internet connection, and it resists fire, flooding and impacts. The wallets are made in-house on an automated production line in Galicia and sold direct to consumers and through distribution partners such as BitBase, reaching buyers in 28 countries. The company was founded in 2021 by Uxío Fraga, operates as Miolo Desarrollos, S.L., and has raised about $2M across two rounds, mostly from private investors, including a Seed round of about $1.1M in February 2024.
