SStrong by Form
Strong by Form is a Madrid-based deeptech company that develops Woodflow®, a biomimetic design-to-manufacturing technology. It turns wood into high-performance biocomposites meant to replace concrete, steel and aluminium in construction, mobility, interiors and maritime uses. Its products are Woodflow-skin, a 3D wood cladding for interiors that is already sold and installed in projects, and Woodflow-core, a carbon-negative structural floor slab up to 80% lighter than concrete that has been demonstrated as a 10-metre prototype. It has worked with BMW, Talgo and NS, won the JEC World 2025 Startup Booster sustainability prize, and was a TechCrunch Startup Battlefield finalist. It was founded in Santiago, Chile in 2018 and later moved its headquarters to Madrid. In December 2023 it raised a €4.8 million seed round led by CMPC Ventures. In September 2026 it announced a €5.8 million first close of a €10 million Series A led by boisei investments, with CMPC, VX Ventures, Ternel, Savia Ventures, Teampact Ventures, Axel Carbon and FINSA also taking part.
