Ingenostrum, which trades as Nostrum Group, is a Spanish developer of energy-transition infrastructure. It develops utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects, Power-to-X green hydrogen projects and data centres powered by renewable energy. Founded in 2009 by Santiago Rodríguez Agúndez, the company has developed more than 10 GW of solar projects for third parties across Spain, Latin America, the United States and Asia. In December 2023 it raised €25 million from Andera Partners through its Andera Smart Infra 1 fund, in exchange for a minority stake of more than 30% and at a valuation above €50 million. In June 2026 IREN completed its acquisition of the company for about €128 million, gaining roughly 490 MW of secured, grid-connected power in Spain and a team of more than 50 people.
