NNubentos
Nubentos is a Cádiz-based API marketplace for digital health. Its cloud platform gathers healthcare APIs from providers around the world, so hospitals, insurers, telemedicine platforms, pharmaceutical companies and health start-ups can find, integrate and pay for digital-health services in one place. Health software providers publish, manage and earn from their APIs through it, using an API-management and service-oriented model. Customers include DKV Salud, and the platform has users in more than 60 countries. Manuel Morales Lara founded Nubentos at the end of 2018. In January 2021 it raised a €120,000 pre-seed round led by Encomenda Smart Capital with health-sector business angels. Later in 2021 it closed a €500,000 seed round led by Ops Capital and completed through the Startupxplore equity crowdfunding platform, with participation from CloudAppi.
